The MEP Group’s first Policy-Maker Roundtable will offer a focused 60-minute online exchange connecting policy-makers across countries around some of the most pressing shared questions in music education policy. Drawing on two to three key themes emerging from the MEP Group’s Annual Policy Report and country profiles, invited policy-makers will have the opportunity to compare experiences, share insights into how these challenges are being addressed in their own contexts, and explore the realities of turning policy ambitions into practice. At the heart of the roundtable will be one forward-looking question: How can the MEP Group become a useful resource for policy-makers working on these and future challenges? The discussion will explore how the Group can help connect policy-makers facing similar issues across countries, open doors to relevant stakeholders and expertise, and create an ongoing space for exchange between policy, research and practice, shaped around what policy-makers themselves would find most valuable.
