The MEP Group brings together a culturally and geographically diverse group of organisations that shape, influence, or determine music education policy at national, regional, and local levels. Depending on governance systems, members may include ministries of education and/or culture and other public authorities; national or regional arts and music councils; public and private funding bodies; professional and advocacy organisations; as well as industry bodies and music education technology organisations whose strategic frameworks, regulatory engagement, procurement models, and governance policies increasingly interact with public policy environments.
The MEP Group provides a high-level forum dedicated specifically to music education policy, enabling structured dialogue among decision-makers, funders, sector leaders, and system-level actors whose policies and regulatory frameworks affect how music education is financed, governed, accessed, and delivered.
